A Day Without My Mom
All human beings have a mother. No matter how she is, we want to keep her with us our whole life. Death is part of life as mourning is part of the human being experience.
We all know that we will eventually die. However, we are never prepared to lose someone we love.
Passing through supporting images of past photos and personal memories which are still intact, we will meet Daniela's mother, Lucia and the relationship that both had as mother and daughter. In this story, we are going to walk by Daniela Lucia's youngest daughter in the pain of having lost her mother during the pandemic and not being able to say goodbye to her.

A Venezuelan single mother comes to the United States under Asylum with her two youngest children where she struggles for 5 years in order to bring across the border the two who remained outside of US territory.
